David you were an essential part of Indrotech and played a major role to our growth over the years. From our humble beginnings, your contribution, hard work and determination has resulted to where we are today. During our years together we have seen Indrotech evolve into an important part of the many industries that we now service.

I personally would like to thank David for his loyalty and expertise not only as one of the team but as a close friend; I will for ever be grateful.

Getting the best out of your 4WD
When it comes to getting the best out of your 4WD the idea of modifying the vehicle comes to mind, especially when you need it to perform its best in rough terrain. At Indrotech we have found through our 20 years of dealing with 4WD driveshaft’s that when modifying the vehicle things can go wrong. Whether it be a Nissan Patrol a Toyota Hilux or any other popular 4WD people will always try to alter to make it better. But before you start we just wanted to give you a few hints on what to look for to give you the best chance of it doing it right.

Our first step is to look at the overall concentricity of the assembly starting from the straightness of the tube to the concentricity of the other components welded to either end of the tube. It does get technical and tedious to fix but it must be right, otherwise we come up with the problem that you saw in the video.

The benefit of our procedures is reducing this obvious runout down to 4 thousandths of an inch, equivalent to 1/10th of a millimetre. This is a standard service we practice within our Manufacturing Process let alone our Balancing Procedure.

This procedure helps with our final balancing process that in turn eliminates any vibration in the truck that is caused by the driveshaft. In the video we are running the shaft only at a couple of hundred RPM, imagine what effect it would have running at 3 or 4 thousand RPM. It would be dangerous on the road and more than just a bumpy ride for the driver; it could be catastrophic!
