Remember not so long ago we told you about an old and tiered 60“ diameter double width Richardson fan assembly. Well, after we did what we had to do to get it back on site, our client called and said “I think we have another one”.
What happened was that when the repaired fan was reinstalled he noticed a difference in the way the two fans were operating. What alerted the client was a terrible vibration from the other fan assembly. He then realised that this sound and vibration should not have been accepted in the first place. But how was he to know. It had always made that sound…. Now, the second fan has been successfully repaired and balanced and is operating as it should be.
