A Mixed Flow impeller combines characteristics of an axial and a centrifugal design, using a cone shaped hub with curved, swept blades. Each blade is built to a specific profile to suit the required airflow, which makes a mixed flow impeller a detailed, time consuming construction.
Where an off-the-shelf fan does not fit the application, Indrotech will study the aerodynamic requirements, design and fabricate a custom impeller to suit – measuring on site, then building and balancing the finished wheel in house. Indrotech can also duplicate an existing or damaged impeller, matching the number, pitch and profile of each blade by hand where no pressing tool is available.
